Tuesday Tidbits: Burritos, History & Athens Pride

TT01
Happy Tuesday Errbody!

The past weekend was a much needed time to recover from my what felt like super long holiday. Ever had that feeling where you have to have a holiday to get over your actual holiday? I know it’s not just me!

I spent it chilling on my couch, getting some much needed house cleaning done and pulling myself together for Monday, my favorite day. If you follow me on snapchat, you’ll see that I’m slowly getting back into my normal workout schedule. Last Monday I went back to kickboxing class and this week I’m getting back on the silks. Feels so so good to sweat it all out!

My blog posts about Amsterdam and Mykonos will be up soon so I’ll skip all the details on those trips. Let me just say I had such a good time and am so grateful to be able to have the experiences that I do.

Since I’ve been back in Athens I’ve been playing tour guide but at the same time exploring the center of Athens. Just getting out and roaming the little streets of Athens…makes me fall in love with it all over again. This city has such a special place in my heart. If you haven’t already you definitely need to #visitgreece.

While roaming Athens we stumbled upon #AthensPride. Free condoms and happy strangers, definitely a nice surprise. Athens08
Ever have Greek Rakomelo? It’s Raki ( an alcoholic drink ) combined with spices such as cinnamon and cardamom. It has powerful antioxidants and although traditionally used as a home remedy for a sore throat or cough, we love it even when we don’t have those symptoms! Athens14
Stopped by my friend’s new Mexican street food – Grexico. A must visit if in Athens!! It is such a cute little spot to hang out and eat good simple food.

Chill out time by the sea with great company

How was your week? I’d love to hear about it.
