I love the smell of winter. Memories are strongly linked to smells and growing up, the smell of winter always meant visiting Greece. I would usually spend Christmas in Athens with my Greek family – it was the best! So, If you don’t have a fireplace for that amazing smell don’t fret – you can try this little trick I have for you – Make your house smell like Christmas with stove top potpourri! My sister was the one that had started doing this and I always loved how her house smelled. The scents that greet you at the door are just… mm!!

You can package these into little baggies and even give them as stocking fillers this Christmas.

Here are my fav concoctions

You may use fresh or dried components

Christmas Spice

You will need:

  1. 3 to 4 Cinnamon Sticks
  2. 1 Tbsp of Cloves
  3. A Cut up Orange
  4. Pine Leaves

Minty Winter

2 Sliced Limes

2 shoots of fresh mint
