Breakfast Pancakes

I’ve just started on a new diet – don’t worry I’ll let you all know the details once I’ve got it all down. I’m still working on recipes and foods that suit me. One thing that is definitely staying for good though, is this breakfast pancake recipe! It is so so simple but so yummy, filling, and gets in a lot of your protein for the day.

Make these with NO guilt whatsoever

It’s something that you do need to spend a little time in the kitchen for but it’s totally worth it (I’ll be back with some super quick overnight oats soon).

7 Ingredients

15 Minutes

So let’s get down and dirty:

Breakfast Pancakes

Prep time
5 minutes
Cooking time
10 minutes
Total time
15 minutes
  • 4 egg whites
  • 50gr banana
  • 50gr almond milk
  • 50gr oats (throw into the food blender to make into powder/flour)
  • As much Cinnamon or cacao as you’d like (I die for cinnamon)
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • 20gr honey

  1. Mix everything together except for the honey.
  2. Drizzle honey on top of pancakes, sprinkle some more cinnamon (addicted) and put toppings of choice.

So my diet plan is pretty strict with grams but don’t be fooled cos these will keep you full for a good 3 hours. You have to eat at least every 3 hours anyways! You can add extra toppings like strawberries, raspberries or coconut flakes and cacao nibs (which are so good) if you’d like. However, for my diet I keep it simple and prefer to add my mashed bananas with the batter.

Test it out, comment to let me know how it went or snap a pic and tag #SoftDlight on Instagram.
